Giving Thanks

Giving Thanks

The slight chill in the air. The stunning beauty of the leaves changing into spectacular hues of reds, oranges, and yellows. Cozy sweaters and dancing flames in the fireplace.

Fall is here!

And with it, fall rings in the start of the holiday season. As some of us prepare to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, I wanted to touch on all the things we have to be grateful for. At the top of my list is YOU!

Honoring the fall harvest and giving our thanks for all which has occurred over the past year gives us a wonderful opportunity to pause and reflect. Life isn’t always perfect, and it might not always be easy, but being able to slow down and identify the good is a powerful process to invite even more good into our lives.

The reminder to appreciate all the things that bring you joy and the opportunity to connect with loved ones is always welcome! Infusing gratitude and joy into your life and appreciating all you have helps to create more positive emotions and form a more content outlook on life

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I’d like to invite you to consider three things you are most grateful for! I recently created a list of my own, and I’d like to share it with you.

I am grateful for…

  • Today! I’m grateful for each day! Starting my morning off with gratitude in my heart fills me with positivity and makes me excited to see what wonderful surprises the day has in store.
  • Email! I am grateful for the invention of email so I can communicate with my friends, family and clients with ease. ❤️ Staying in touch with my loved ones enhances my life and fills my cup. Being able to communicate with those who are far away so quickly is something I am truly grateful for.
  • Purpose! I am grateful that I live a meaningful life of purpose by empowering other women to live their very best lives. This brings me immense joy! Finding what brings you a sense of purpose is a lifelong journey, and I am so pleased to be able to walk with so many wonderful women along this path.
  • Family! Okay, I  couldn’t resist. I had to add one more in here! 😉 I am so very grateful that all 3 of my daughters will be with me and my husband for Thanksgiving. Having the 5 of us around the dinner table these days is rare. I savor each and every moment.

Cultivating an attitude of gratitude at any time of the year is an important practice. Giving thanks can improve your relationships, increase your positive feelings, and decrease anxiety and stress. Let’s strive to see the best in ourselves and in others, and remember how special and beautiful our lives are all year round!

Don’t forget to share your gratitude list below! I’m looking forward to hearing about it! What is one unexpected thing you are grateful for this season?
