We all get distracted from time to time. We are busy with work, families, and everything going on in the world around us. All of which can keep us distracted from tuning into our inner selves and experiencing personal growth, authentic confidence, and genuine happiness. Which is why I am sharing 5 reminders to keep you aligned with your highest self.
Each day you can start anew
A bad day doesn’t have to turn into a bad week, a bad month, or a bad season. There is a lot of power in knowing that you can leave the events of a day behind and you can choose to wake up the next day with a fresh perspective. Our lives are made up of the small moments, and every day is an opportunity to design your ideal reality.
Be present in this very moment and the next…
We can get so caught up in the “somedays” that we forget about what we are actually experiencing in the here and now. Then when we do finally reach that point we were looking forward to, we tend to look back and long for things to be how they once were. If you’re looking to experience genuine, authentic happiness, allow yourself to be fully in the present. Appreciate where you are right now, acknowledge the people in your circle, and practice gratitude for what you already have.
Trust your gut
Especially in our world of social media, we have an endless stream of voices telling us what we “should” do, but what we can’t forget is that our gut and internal knowing will always lead us in the right direction for OUR ultimate success. What works for someone else may not be what’s best for you, and that’s OK. If you’re wondering about the next step to take, or what’s going to be the best choice for the trajectory of your life, take a moment to tune into yourself and listen to what your gut tells you.
Focus on what you want
What you focus on expands, and if you’re always thinking about what you don’t want, you’re likely going to attract exactly that into your life. If you’re in a state of wishing and hoping for something to happen or come into your life, try shifting your mindset to thinking about exactly what you want. Get extremely clear, imagine how it will feel once you receive it, and act as if it has already happened.
Practice gratitude for the smallest of things
Lastly, if you’re looking to attract and manifest more of what you desire into your life, a great first step is to be hyper-grateful and aware of everything you already have. Practicing gratitude puts you in a high vibrational state and signals to the Universe that you are ready and willing to receive. In every moment of your life, practice being grateful for the water you drink, the softness of your sheets, the rain, having heating and cooling, having clean clothes, etc. Once you build this habit into your pattern of thinking you’ll be amazed at how easily you’ll start attracting everything you want in life.
